What if you were going to be on TV?

Let’s say you had the opportunity to do a promotional spot on Fox News. Which of the following do you think would be the most important to give out:

Your phone number?
Your Web address?
Your email address?
Your Facebook Business Page?

Well Dr. Chris Barras has that opportunity and this exact question came up, and here is my answer.

The answer – your Facebook business page. Why? People are already on Facebook everyday, Facebook servers can handle the traffic, all your contact info should be there and once they click your Like button you have a way to keep in touch with them through your News feed.

Of course your phone number would be important also, but that one is a given.

The key to the whole thing? Your credibility!

Check out the new Facebook page we did for Dr. Chris Barras. See the difference between having a Facebook page that builds credibility and one that just exists.

Now, once you get to his page click the Like button. Also check out the tabs on the left for his Interview, his e-book, and the Doctor’s Resource.

Why are these so important? Because people will come back to your page to use your resources. Priceless!

If you are interested in adding the Facebook Credibility Package to your SYSTEM (and you need to), let us know. The price is ridiculously low. If you do not yet subscribe to the SYSTEM…let us know that too so we can show you what its all about.

Oh, by the way, we already have a waiting list so contact Dr. Alan right away (dralan@healthnewspodcast.com) and he will go over with you what the next step is.

If management was the brains or vision of the organization, then administration is the where and the who.

Proper administration creates an effective staff and efficient office space that allows for a highly productive work arena.

Administration oversees everything about the office itself from the filing system to inventory to maintaining the database to insuring a clean/organized office space. Administration also oversees personnel from recruiting to hiring to personnel records to the establishment of clear job descriptions and job training.

The director of personnel responsibilities include developing an employee hand-book containing job descriptions, staff policies, goals and the purpose of the position. Paramount are job procedures that include daily/weekly/monthly/annual checklists, duties & responsibilities.

Administration oversees staff meetings. Staff and facilities are reviewed regularly for the proper functioning of the practice.

Administrative effectiveness is measured by a staff that follows job descriptions, clear and timely communication of information within the practice, clean and modern facilities and ample office supplies.

Your Motivation Moment

A pencil maker told the pencil five important lessons just before putting it in the box:

1. Everything you do will always leave a mark.
2. You can always correct the mistakes you make.
3. What is important is what is inside of you.
4. In life, you will undergo painful sharpening, which will only make you better.
5. To be the best pencil, you must allow yourself to be held and guided by the hand that holds you.

We all need to be constantly sharpened. This parable may encourage you to know that you are a special person, with unique God-given talents and abilities. Only you can fulfill the purpose which you were born to accomplish. Never allow yourself to get discouraged and think that your life is insignificant and cannot be changed and, like the pencil, always remember that the most important part of who you are, is what’s inside of you and then allow yourself to be guided by the hand of God.
